Being a vegetarian myself, I love making salads almost everyday. These healthy and easy vegetarian salads are either a big part of my meal or my entire meal by themselves. Hearty grain based or protein rich salads are especially satisfying. One bowl of such a salad is a balanced meal by itself.

My list of 49 healthy vegetarian salads are fit to suit every requirement – from lunchbox fillers to crowd pleasers. Many of these salads are no-lettuce salads.
