4-Course Valentine’s Day Menu for Busy People

February 14, 2017

Looking for a Valentine’s Day menu? Get this easy-to-put together yet special dinner idea below!

Valentine’s day is here.

There’s no escaping the red hearts and red roses, the cliched pink teddy bears and other cheesy gifts lurking on almost every shop window.

If you’re the I-don’t-have-time-for-romantic-dinners type of person, worry not! I’ve got you covered. The last thing you want to do after a busy, tiring day is to cook an elaborate meal, but trust me this Valentine’s Day menu I’m sharing with you takes less than 30 minutes to prep and serve!

So here are some boozy menu ideas complete with desserts and dinner recipes that make a perfect cozy meal for two.

Pasta in Vodka Sauce

With pasta and vodka in a creamy tomato sauce, what’s not to love about this?

Only it takes just 20 minutes to put together.

Beer Baked Crostini

A simple no frills way to have beer with your bread, this beer baked crostini is perfect for beer lovers.

Roasted Cauliflower Steak with Whisky Sauce

A flavourful whisky sauce on top of this roasted cauliflower steak, is a perfect main course – light and easy!

Tip: Serve it on top of a bed of couscous if you must have some extra carbs on the plate.

Mexican Boozy Hot Chocolate for Two

Nothing makes you feel warm and special like a cup of hot chocolate. Spike it up with something extra, and spice it up a bit, you have the perfect valentine’s day drink, in under 15 minutes.

Boozy Self Saucing Chocolate Cake for Two

Prerequisites for a decadent Valentine’s day dessert:

  • Must have chocolate
  • Must have booze
  • More booze
  • Some more chocolate

This swoon-worthy dessert just ticks all the boxes! And it takes just 10 minutes to put together.

Tip: Add more oomph with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or some sweetened double cream.

So these are my dinner ideas for a nice quiet Valentine’s day dinner! So skip the crowded dinner reservations, and enjoy a laid-back evening with your partner. ????

Happy Valentine’s Day ????❤️
