Turmeric Hummus with Green Mango

This is a hummus with an unusual flavour that you might never have tasted before - fresh turmeric root and green mango, a summer special recipe

  • 1.5 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 2 tsp grated fresh turmeric root
  • 1/2 cup diced green mango
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil


  • To prepare the turmeric hummus with green mango, grind all ingredients except olive oil, with 1/4 cup water, to a smooth puree. Remove into a bowl.
  • Garnish with the extra virgin olive oil, few strands of grated fresh turmeric and some fresh mint.
