Turmeric Hummus with Green Mango
This is a hummus with an unusual flavour that you might never have tasted before - fresh turmeric root and green mango, a summer special recipe

- 1.5 cups cooked chickpeas
- 2 tsp grated fresh turmeric root
- 1/2 cup diced green mango
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 green chilies
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
To prepare the turmeric hummus with green mango, grind all ingredients except olive oil, with 1/4 cup water, to a smooth puree. Remove into a bowl.
Garnish with the extra virgin olive oil, few strands of grated fresh turmeric and some fresh mint.
